Independent Environmental Solutions

Clear Information.
Confident Decisions.

Environmental assessments designed to help property owners, businesses, and contractors understand their buildings and move projects forward with confidence.

The IES perspective

Every Building Tells a Story.

Sometimes these stories are hidden within building materials, above ceilings, behind walls, or beneath flooring.

The idea is to uncover those stories and what they mean so you can move forward with confidence.

About Independent Environmental Solutions

Experience in the field.
Independence in the approach.

Independent Environmental Solutions was started with the purpose of providing clear, honest solutions drawn from years of formal education and experience.

My background spans a variety of environmental projects that all contribute in their own way, to the practice of indoor environmental quality. I've learned that good technical work matters just as much as clear and careful observations to help clients make the best possible decisions.

The Person Behind IES

Adam Cox

I'm drawn to work that requires figuring out what's actually happening.

Environmental consulting gives me the opportunity to combine clarity in observations and technical information with practical problem-solving.

My goal is to do careful work, communicate it clearly, and give clients information they can actually use.

“Good decisions begin with good observations.”

Why clients choose IES

Environmental consulting that reduces uncertainty.

Every assessment is built around three questions:
